Bubba Head

If you are looking for a Lawyer that cares about you than the money. You should hire “Bubba Head “. I had hired another Attorney that gave me little to no hope of winning my case. After a pre-consultation with Mr. Head. He gave me free advice to help assist my Attorney. Upon realizing Mr. Head’s expertise. I decided to release my Attorney and hire him. Mr. Head went to bat for me and had my charges reduced to a lesser offense. Mr. Head is one of the hardest working Attorneys out there and he will work hard for you. In closing , Mr. Head I just want to say thank you. I will never be able to to express my gratitude.

I Fully Endorse Bubba Head

You will not find a more experienced attorney who will get you the best possible outcome in your case than Bubba Head. A very well respected attorney in Atlanta referred me to him for my personal injury claim resulting from being rear ended in a car accident. My case was complicated and Bubba knew how to navigate through the multiple layers. Ultimately, Bubba wrote a masterful Holt demand letter that included all of the details of the incident and resulted in the company granting our full request. Besides being the most competent attorney you can hire he is the most compassionate attorney you will find. He understood the nature of my injuries as well as the associated stress of the accident and was supportive throughout the process of my recovery.

Highly Recommended

I was referred to William Head because I am out of state- I could not have been more pleased. I am young, had many questions and was very concerned. He treated me as a person, not just another case. I knew he wanted the best for me. He was very supportive and encouraged me in life situations as well as legal situations. He met with me and explained everything to me in detail and told me step by step what I needed to do to make sure my case was handled. He followed up with me after the case just checking on me, still encouraging me to do the right thing. William Head was very personal, professional and I could not be more pleased with the way my case was handled. I am so appreciative and would refer anyone to him!

William C. Head Saved My Life

Bubba Head saved my life. He has been my attorney, supporter, and, friend for many years. I can’t express how much Bubba has meant to my entire family. I am a chronic alcoholic. Over the years, I have received 6 DUI's......today I have 2 on my record. Thank God, I was given the honor of retaining Bubba as my attorney. He immediately took control! My situation was terrible. I attended rehabs all over the country. The disease of alcoholism was too powerful for me to control. In 2012, I received 2 DUI's in two weeks (Cobb County). I was so sick at the time. My body was shutting down. I had lost 30 lbs. I was literally, all skin and bones (90 lbs.) My skin was falling off....so thin, and black and blue. I had lost my hair, fingernails, and toenails. When I went to see Bubba, I could barely walk. He, basically, carried me down the stairs to his office. I was dying. Bubba's advice was to get me into a rehab immediately. When I arrived at La Paloma in Memphis, I tried to use the payphone and my ulcer burst. There was blood all over me, the floor, and, the walls. I died in the ambulance. All I remember is the ambulance driver saying "We got her back. We almost lost her". Thank God, I was in a safe place with nurses, doctors and an ambulance! That was the situation because of Bubba's knowledge, direction, and personal interest in my life. I was in La Paloma for a month. Following, I attended a Sober Living in California for over 6 months. My body and mind healed. I returned home to enter the DUI court program. This was my last option, and, a positive one. It was the structure that I needed. After 8 rehabs, I finally, got sober. It was a tough program, but, it worked. Throughout my road to sobriety, Bubba has been there for my family and me 24/7. Never ONCE did he not return a call, answer an email or treat me like I was just "another client". Honestly, my Dad and I felt like we were his no.1 priority all the time. Without Bubba's expertise, brilliance, and personal care, I would not be here today. He truly cares about his client's and their lives. This is because he is a good, honest man with a big heart. It goes without saying that he is a genius! To this day, we stay in touch:) Bubba is always spoken of in a heartfelt way when I am home visiting my Dad. My Dad comments " what would we have done without Bubba? I would not have my daughter...". As a permanent "member of our family", we thank God for sending us Bubba Head.

The Best and Brighest

I have hired Bubba twice in the last twenty years for DUI charges. The first one, I was stopped at a road block back in 2000 and charged with a DUI. Sixteen months later, the case was completely dismissed due to Bubba's perservance and knowledge of the law. In 2015, I was stopped for not using my blinker at a stop sign. In the pretrial hearing, by cross examining the officer, Bubba was able to discredit their story so much that the judge ruled against the prosecution and granted our motion to suppress all evidence. Now the prosecution has no case. Again, a great job! Bubba does not miss the details, make mistakes, and knows the law better than anyone. In both my cases and in yours, if you hire him, this is what will lead to the best possible outcome. I would not of hired Bubba twice if he was not the best.

William C. "Bubba" Head

Bubba is the best of the best DUI lawyers, hands down. He got my DUI and related charges totally dismissed and discharged. No fine, no community service, no probation, no MADD panel attendance, no jail time, no nothing. Not even my auto insurance company can raise my rates since Bubba got all the charges against me totally dismissed. Bubba is a lawyers' lawyer who I can't say enough good things about. He worked miracles for me and for others before me. I would never use anyone else for a DUI, and I highly recommend him. While some other DUI lawyers may be hammers, Bubba is definitely a sledge hammer.

I Felt SAFE!

Bubba is the most intelligent and experienced DUI Attorney in the business. His working knowledge of the laws in GA kept me from a DUI conviction. When the justice system does not appear to be working for you, Bubba does. Don't risk having anything less by your side. It's much more at stake than money. How much is your freedom worth to you? Money well spent in my situation. Thank you so much , Bubba!!

Absolutely the BEST...

Bubba Head handled my DUI case from start to finish with great care and concern. At the beginning, he gave me reassurances that he could help me, and he was pretty sure he could get things to work out better than I realized. He knew the cast of characters involved in my case, which I think was a real "plus." After just a few weeks, he came back to me with a fantastic offer from the Prosecutor: they would reduce two charges (Failure to Maintain Lane and DUI) to a charge of Reckless Driving if I pled guilty. That sounded good, so I accepted the deal. When we went to court, It was obvious that all of the people at the courthouse - from the police officers to the prosecutors to the judge - had the utmost respect and admiration for Mr. Head, and I felt privileged to have hired such a fantastic legal representative. And it got better - at the courthouse, the deal had again been reduced so that I could please "No Contest" to Reckless Driving instead of "Guilty," thereby keeping the points off my driving record. Mr. Head stayed with me through the entire process, and continued to represent my interests when the probation officers had things a bit too "stringent." All in all, I am thrilled at the outcome of my situation, and I truly feel that had I not made the decision to hire Bubba Head, my outcome would have been substantially worse.

Amazing Lawyer and Person!!

Bubba Head is amazing!! He was able to make a stressful situation more bearable and kept me informed throughout the process. Mr. Head and Cory Yager teamed up on my case and I could not be more thankful. My DUI was reduced to reckless driving and I owe it all to Mr. Head and Mr. Yager. Not only is Bubba Head a great lawyer, but he is a great person as well. He gave me helpful advice on my future and important decisions having to do with my college education. Also, shared funny memories with me. Overall, he made me feel very comfortable despite everything going on and there aren't enough words to say how thankful I am!

A Miracle Worker-

I am not one to write reviews but here I am today. Mr. Head is really one of kind. Additionally, he has a great team that provides extra assistance should you need it. I experienced an unfortunate circumstance that I will never forget and was charged with several offenses (DUI, reckless driving, etc). My future seemed bleak and hopeless. My family researched for a suitable lawyer and managed to locate Mr. Head. Pretty soon, he was tasked to my case. As I was considered a first offender, Mr. Head and his team did their best to present a solid defense on my behalf. After several long, arduous years, my probation was terminated and I was given the opportunity to start my life again. While the past few years have been undeniably life-changing, I will never regret the decision to uphold Mr. Head as my lawyer. My family and I have nothing but gratitude for him and we hope that he will continue to provide the guidance needed for others as well. Thank you.

Awesome Attorney and Great Person!

A year ago I was pulled over by an officer who claimed we almost had a collision. I admitted to having a couple beers earlier in the night, and did field sobriety tests where I apparently displayed 17 of 18 clues (never do these tests). I was arrested and charged with DUI, reckless driving and failure to maintain lain. In the past year, I was not very confident about the outcome of my case. This was due to the video evidence of the field tests against me, and the officer’s claim that we almost had a collision (to which I entirely denied). I met with Bubba many times and he always made me feel as I was his only client, he really got to know me and became a good friend. As soon as the jury selection began, I became more confident. Bubba was extremely prepared in every stage of the trial. Bubba was perfect and challenged every aspect of the state’s case. Trial is where Bubba thrives, and he is meticulous in questioning witnesses. The two expert witnesses he called were crucial to the outcome and were extremely well prepared for my case. Bubba is extremely knowledgeable in every area of DUI law and he fights for you with tenacity. At the end of the 3 day jury trial, the verdict came back as not guilty on all three charges. I honestly couldn't believe it. If you're ever in an unfortunate situation like this, Bubba is the attorney you want to have on your side.

Favorable Verdict

Mr. Head was a tremendous help in our child's DUI litigation. He was referred indirectly to me by another lawyer. I needed a lawyer but had no clue on who I should use. I began going through the phone book seeking the right attorney. As I interviewed each one on the phone, my frustration mounted. They all seemed the same. My frustration must have shown through because the lawyer said "who do you want Bubba Head." I ask him who was Bubba Head and he said supposedly the best DUI lawyer in the state . I hung up and called Mr. Head. I could not have made a better choice. The journey through the court system is convoluted and perilous. Mr. Head and his team were invaluable in navigating the system. They were supportive and informative as they presented the possible courses of action. It was a long process but they never waivered in their support. Mr. Head was truly a gift from God. I firmly believe the verdict in my child's favor was an answered prayer from God and that Mr. Head was the messenger.

Amazing Attorney - - Amazing Person

We hired Mr. Head on 10/22/2015 due to a very unfortunate situation that my son was in. I am pleased to say as of today 11/16/2015 (25 days after Mr. Head took my son’s case) my son was found “Not Guilty of DUI”. Here’s our story… I called Mr. Head at 6:00 p.m. as he was walking out the door and he took my call and began working on my son’s case immediately; before I even retained him. From the beginning he was extremely compassionate and understanding and treated my son’s case as if he was his only client when in fact he was one of many. No matter what time of day or night and even on the weekends that I emailed Mr. Head, he would personally respond almost immediate. If he was unable to respond his paralegal Allison would respond to ensure me that he would get my message and would respond as soon as he was available. I did not have one negative experience with Mr. Head or his staff. They were all very professional, personable and treated us with respect. If you, a family member, or a friend is ever in the terrible situation of being accused of DUI, I strongly recommend Mr. William C. Head and his firm to represent you through this terrible and unfortunate event in your life. You will not be sorry. My advice is to be extremely detailed about your case, take copious notes and select the right attorney. We had retained another attorney prior to Mr. Head that put our son and his case in a very precarious position that could have resulted in a devastating outcome. Our family will be forever grateful to Mr. Head and his associates. Thank you!

DUI

I interviewed other attorneys before choosing Mr Head. Oddly one attorney recommended Mr Head. Mr Head provided, not only expert legal advice during each phase of my case, he made me feel confident my case was more than a case- it was my future and the outcomes needed to favorable. He is respected by prosecutors and judges because he is an expert in DUI cases and respects the system; yet as his client he challenged and fought for my legal rights - we won!

8 Years Later and REDUCED!

Here I am, 28 years old and sitting in a court-required risk awareness course. The funny part? I'm the only person in the room that does NOT have a DUI. Because even though I was under aged at the time and blew a .09 in a huge college town renowned for zero tolerance, I'm here 8 YEARS LATER with a reduced charge. I spoke with three attorneys all those years ago and two of them told me I was screwed since I was under 21, but one didn't. So I'm hearing all of these horror stories of DUI convictions and missing drivers licenses and how their attorneys didn't help them at all despite the high fees. I laughed and said, "Well I disagree. I know the #1 attorney in the nation is more expensive, but he has an insanely high success rate and it took 8 years for my case to come up." The course instructor walked in and muttered "...Bubba Head." I smiled and said, "Yes, the one and only Bubba Head!" :-)

He Is the One You Need for Your Case

I was in a very minor accident a year ago and was arrested for DUI and following too closely. There was a lot of detail in my case that I don't want to go to far in it. I had a prior about 7 years ago. Just so you know, if you have a 2nd one, the punishment is much more severe than the 1st one. Pretty much you will be treated like a murderer or rapist in the rest of your life. I'm a professional. A 2nd DUI will ruin my carrier completely as well. So, I was researching for a lawyer to represent me on court in a hope of getting rid of the DUI charge. During my research, I have found that only 4 lawyers in the whole Georgia is a certified DUI lawyer; and Mr.Head is 1 of them. After talking to him from the 1st free evaluation, I had decided to have him on my side. He is the most expensive lawyer in his firm, and I believe he still is even compare to other lawyers. At first, I'm very skeptical about the process. Mr. Head told me to do a lot of things ahead of time just to keep my mind occupied and in case of whatever would happen. At some point, I feel kind of confident that everything should be okay. But it will change once the trial started. During the court, Mr.Head is really fighting for you. He tries to excludes any evidences that is harmful for you to make your case easier to win. I knew he spend a lot of time to do research because when he threw out all the prior cases among the whole country and the detail in constitutions, you know he came prepared. I had a jury trial which means I had 6 jurors from a total of 15 to decide my faith. Like I said early, your confidence will crash during the trial because every time you see the prosecutor talking, thing seemed pretty bad. And I was ready for an appeal in my mind. I asked Mr.Head what outcome could I expect from the jurors? He said as long as 1 of them disagree with my charge, the prosecutor would probably reduce my charge. But you know what, the jurors toke about 30 minutes to discuss and they all agree that I am not guilty. That was way better that I expected. I ended up with only 1 charge which was the following too closing for the accident. During the pass 12 months, I have been so stress about this case. My wife was crying every now and then worrying that I would go to prison (prosecutor suggests a minimum of 30 days). I feel terrible among people, don't really want to talk to anyone because I'm afraid they would know what happen and I might go to prison with a criminal record. But now everything is fine. I don't drink anymore. Not even a drop. I hope you will never come across my post. But if you do, Mr.Head is your best bet to beat the odd.

William Head Knows the DUI Laws! Call Him Before Anyone Else!

Mr. Head kept me calm during my entire DUI ordeal. He made me feel confident about my case and that helped me get through day to day. He was absolutely right to do that! He really worked hard for me to prove my innocence and worked hard to win! And we did! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of a top notch DUI attorney.

He Is the Real Thing

What he did was masterful. I have never been at the center of such high drama and poetice justice. Attorney Head was prepared in a manner I did not believe possible. His thoroughness and diligence put our case in a position to completely overwhelm the judge, the court, the law enforcement community, and anyone else who had the misfortune to be party to the prosecution of my case.

Review of William C Head From a Former Client

William was a fantastic help to me, starting with my first meeting with him in his office. He understands the law better than the other attorneys that I met with, and he knows all the possible avenues to defend yourself. What was also particularly helpful was that he knew those in the justice system in the rural county where I was charged. Due to his long and distinguished career, he knows the prosecutors, DAs, etc all over the state. He helped me manage my defense like a professional - always there to answer my questions through what was a very stressful period - and reached the best possible result for me. It saved my job and my relationship with my family. I recommend him without reservation to anyone else who needs help.

MIP Case at UGA

Our daughter's MIP (Not DUI - MIP was not a category I could pick in this survey) was dismissed in court not because she wasn't drinking but because it was a first offense and Mr. Head saw so much evidence that the arrest was totally mishandled and the kids rights were abused.

Seasoned Professional With Astute Knowledge of the Legal System

Understanding the bounds of legal issues can not be thought but one develops over years of experience. Mr. Head assisted me in addressing a sensitive topic of a minor in possession where by individuals involved were not read their Miranda Rights until hours after being held by state compensated employees. Mr Head's ability to build a time line of events enabled all involved, including the court, to recognize that all evidence collected was in violation of an individual's Fifth Amendment rights. As you would guess all charges were dropped and the case dismissed. I highly recommend Mr. Head and his team!

Awesome RESULTS

Mr. Head represented our daughter in her first offense which was a MIP. He genuinely took the entire family under his wings and navigated us through the legal system in Athens, GA. At the long awaited trial, he conducted himself with professionalism, confidence, and he was prepared beyond belief with case studies, witnesses, and a timeline of the entire episode. After cross examination all the prosecutor's witnesses the judge adjourned the courtroom for a break. After the break, Mr. Head was ready to present the defense. However the judge immediately decided to throw out the case since the 3 police officers on the scene violated the 3rd Amendment and many other legal technicalities. Furthermore, the judge also elaborated that the Miranda Rights were not given at the time my daughter arrested. It was such a relief to hear the judge render her verdict of not guilty. This will allow us to expunge this occurrence off of her permanent record so that this would not damage her life. I would recommend Mr. Head to anyone with a MIP or a DUI. He is the BEST!!!!

Career Minded People Please Read This Review!

If you are reading this review I want you to know that I really do understand what you are going through and trust me when I say it is a very difficult process. I am a high level business executive (23 years) that went through what you are about to experience. My entire career was at jeopardy if my innocence was not proven and it is so very important that you choose the right person to represent you. Everyone you talk to that has gone through this will tell you that they were at the wrong place at the wrong time. I too was one of those people with a perfect driving record, model citizen and truly innocent, but trust me the law does not care you are GUILTY until your lawyer can prove otherwise. Emotionally this will be devastating and the stress level of maintaining your innocence throughout the process will be very hard. At the end of it all you need to fight and never settle for guilty! I will tell you from my very personal story that I did just that and in the end my charges were dropped. What I cannot tell you is that this is going to be easy…in fact it will be very painful and in my case it took a long time (6 years). Be prepared to change business meetings, family vacations and be at the mercy of the court. Navigating through the legal system is very complicated and tedious and you need to be prepared for this journey. You are now faced with making the decision for your personal situation. I encourage you to hire Mr. Head as you need to treat this as the biggest business deal of your life….this is your career at stake. Good luck!

You Can Win!

Winning my DUI case last week was life-changing. This is especially true after the judge allowed my prior DUI-accident case to be paraded before the jury during the two day trial, so that the fairness of this proceeding was in extreme doubt. I cannot express how grateful I am to Mr. Head and his great staff for taking on my case and slam-dunking the Prosecutor’s witnesses with the testimony of our two experts. To win on ALL charges was the shocker. I even had to ask Mr. Head if the jury had really said “not guilty” on all charges! The stress over the last 3.5 years has been overwhelming. I have to admit that there were many times I doubted the outcome. Bubba Head is a F'ing rock star and he has changed my life forever.

Simply the Best DUI Defense Attorney

I have had the unfortunate experience of being hard headed, and was arrested for DUI 3 separate times: in 2005, in 2009 and in 2010 for DUI. Due to a quirk in Georgia law, evidence from my prior arrests was allowed in as evidence in the CURRENT DUI case. No other State or nation in the world allows that, according to my attorney. This problem certainly altered the perspective of the case. Mr. Head literally was having to try the the second and third cases basically at the same time as the current prosecution, and even more amazing, the the same officer was involved in both the second and third cases, with nearly identical evidence. The 2009 case had a 0.222 blood test result to fight. Due to my business situation, a conviction of DUI would severely affect my future employment, so I had no choice but to fight it with everything I had. Also, I cannot tell you how severely even being arrested for DUI can affect your future, but I was rejected from a new potential job --- at $150,000 per year --- simply because I had a pending DUI case. Mr. Head was able to get all 3 cases resolved in my favor with no DUI convictions. I did have reckless driving convictions, and two of these cases were resolved at trials. Frankly, I didn't even think that was possible. There is no other attorney that can outmaneuver Mr. Head, because he is so familiar with the law. He literally wrote the book on DUI defense. That kind of experience and knowledge cannot be overvalued, and in my case, I needed every bit of his expertise due to my unusual circumstances. I recommend Mr. Head with out reservation, and I will tell you that if you are faced with even one DUI charge, there is no better attorney to have in your corner."

Mr. Head and his firm really helped me out. He is friendly, knowledgeable, dedicated, and caring. His staff are top-notch. They promptly respond to calls and e-mails and are always ready to answer whatever questions you will have. Mr. Head has a reputation as being the best and I can certainly see why. He's respected nationally as one of the best lawyers in his field. Don't hire a guy who read the book, hire the guy who wrote it. I can't say enough good things about this firm. If you're ambivalent or unsure about whether you should utilize Mr. Head's services, do yourself a favor and retain him. It's worth it.

Highly Recommend William Head

Mr. Head was successful in getting my DUI case dismissed. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the behind the scenes facts about my case. Knowing that the arresting officer was no longer with the city, he scheduled my court date for a Trial Date. When the officer was not there to testify, the case was dismissed. If he had not been so knowledgeable, we would have pleaded out a deal and I would have had the DUI on my record. He was supportive and informative throughout the proceedings and his staff was also very helpful in getting back to me with answers to my questions on the procedures and status of my case. The prosecutor even commented that he didn't want to go up against Mr. Head. Having a knowledgeable and highly respected professional defend me was crucial to my positive outcome. Thank you!

Georgia DUI Roadblock

Everyone told me to use an in-town attorney in hopes of relying on the good-ole-boy system. After my initial research, I kept hearing the same old story about local DUI lawyers. People seemed to end up with a DUI on the record and a waste of their money. I decided to use an Atlanta-based attorney, and I am very glad I made this decision. From the initial contact with his prompt and impressive office staff to the classy and extremely knowledgeable DUI attorney, Mr. William Head, I quickly learned that this is the person to use if you are seeking to win. I strongly believe Mr. Head’s name as my counsel caused a prompt dismissal of the felony drug possession charge associated with a DUI-roadblock arrest. My breath alcohol test was over the legal limit, but that fact did not matter in my case. Two years later, just before trial, all charges were dropped with the exception of a minor traffic violation.

I Could Not Have Found Someone I Trusted More With Something That Meant So Much to Me

Mr Head, Was the difference between my pleading guilty to DUI and a satisfactory resolution, to a case where I was was about to loose my license for taking my prescribed medications and driving. My first attorney had definitely convinced me that I had no other alternative but to plead guilty and accept the loss of my driving privileges. Mr Head obviously had other ideas and he worked for them on my behalf.

Legal Representation That's a "Head" Above the Rest!

I struggle to find a starting point with which to list the endless reasons why I would use Mr. Head again, and also recommend him to my friends and family. Before meeting him, I went through several attorneys who claimed to have the knowledge and expertise to represent my unique case, and yet they all fell short once they were needed. I turned to Mr. Head as a last resort, and have never regretted the decision since. Mr. Head is a good listener, well experienced, and had all the knowledge needed to not only take my case, but also win it. He was able to pull upon his experience to reference and apply the laws suited to my case, and call expert witnesses to back it all up. Although Mr. Head is a professional in the court room, I was new to the scene, and yet he was willing to take the time to answer my questions and explain anything that I found unclear. Mr. Head was also very kind, and just as thorough with my personal witnesses. Mr. Head remained very calm throughout his time with me in the courtroom, and passed that calm onto me. I greatly appreciated his wisdom, his smart tactics and approaches, and again his calm demeanor. He left me with feelings of trust and peace, which I had not found with my previous lawyers. All in all, I cannot sing his praises enough. Mr. Head is the best lawyer I have met. His knowledge, experience, and personal skills make him an all around wonderful lawyer. As I stated above, I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to someone else in need!

I would recommend Mr. Head without reservation.

Mr. Head and Company

I would like to publicly thank Mr. Head and his staff, Allison Valdes and Chere Bishop for working so diligently on my case. Mr. Head and his staff are professional, ethical, and as importantly a very caring group of individuals. I was involved in a difficult case and Bubba, along with his staff kept me apprised of every detail, every possible outcome and successfully got the charges dismissed. Without Mr. Head as my counsel, this would not have happened. Mr. Head has a keen knowledge of the law and is the most well respected attorney in his field. I have a close family member who is an attorney and I chose Mr. Head due to his knowledge and expertise. Not only do I look at Bubba as my attorney, he has also become a good friend. While the situation was one of the most taxing of my life, Bubba and his staff did their best to alleviate my concerns. They are the brightest group of professionals I have ever worked with. Their concern for my well being was heart felt and genuine. It is worth your phone call if you need him.

Successful DUI Defense

Mr. Head met after I shared that I had learned about him from a friend who heard him speak. He is a passionate educator and defender of citizen rights. He knows the law, the process, and how to help his clients deal with a stressful process. His staff communicated with me regularly and I felt well attended to. The charges have been reduced to reckless and my life as, I know it' has been saved. You need this Lawyer!

Mr. Head Is Simply the Best of the Best

Mr. Head is simply the best of the best. I have dealt with many different types of lawyers, and honestly I have never met any like Mr. Head. On one hand, he is very honest, patient and will explain everything to you in a very precise manner. On the other hand, he is amazing in the court room, and knows every little detail about his field. I walked into his office 2 years ago worried to death, everything that he told me that day happened. I walked away from an awful case with all charges dismissed. Simply put, It was the best money I spent in the last 2 years.

Injury by Vehicle Case

I do believe in miracles- God showed me that in finding Bubba Head to represent me in my serious injury by vehicle case. Apart from the grace of God in using his services, I would be in prison. There isn’t a week that goes by that I don’t thank the Lord for him.

DUI Finally Over After 7 Years

At age 51, I knew better than to risk a DUI. As a CPA, it is a huge problem. The case started in College Park in 2002, when I was stopped for speeding as a I drove south on the interstate near the airport. I was asked to get out of the car, which I did not want to do. There was a light rain falling and it was cold outside. Plus, I was on I-85. The officer wanted me to do road side tests. The way it was phrased, I did not see that I had an option. I was freezing cold, shaking and trying to watch for oncoming trucks and cars. Let's just say I did not do very well. I was arrested, taken to jail, and then a very long odyssey began. Mr. Head tried to negotiate the case at the College Park court, but that was a joke. He eventually moved the case over to Fulton, where we could get a jury trial. The process at Fulton was slower than I could have dreamed possible. Several years later, I went to a pretrial hearing where Mr. Head was able to get the eye test excluded (because the officer did it incorrectly) and he also got my breath results thrown out. That seemed to change everything about the case for the prosecutor. We ultimately were offered a "reckless" reduced plea, which I took. It took nearly 7 years! But, Mr. Head never charged me a dime beyond the original flat fee arrangement that he had originally outlined at our first meeting. He probably went to court a dozen times or more. He never gives up. Great qualities for an attorney who has your future in his hands.

Thumbs Up!

Some people you deal with will oversell their services. My experience in dealing with Bubba and his office is that they are just the opposite. Bubba sent me to Lee Webb and he was always framing his advise and telling me my options in a very reserved manner, almost making me realize the chances I would not get my DUI dropped. Bubba also told me that he would hire Mr. Webb, and save some cost of legal fees. That was a fine thing to do because Lee Webb was awesome.

Building Contractor

When I first met Mr Head, I had been through several DUI cases before. Five, in fact. The case I had in Cobb County was the highest reading (over a point 20) and I was speeding. Mr Head advised me that my chances would not be good if we could not find a way to kick out the breath test. I hired him anyway, because I knew how much jail time I faced if I lost. He tried to get a video from the police officer's car. No luck. Officer claimed the video was not working. Mr Head did not accept that answer and kept digging around until he tracked the repair record showing that the video was indeed being fixed. Ultimately, just before we were going to trial, the prosecutor made an offer I could not refuse. I could enter a guilty plea to DUI and go into "work release". I took this offer, despite wanting to not have another DUI on my record. I know that the reason I got this offer was because of Mr Head being my lawyer. The prosecutor seemed relieved that we were not going to trial, but never made an offer without lots of jail time in the first 10 months the case was pending. Allison and Julie always kept me in the loop for what was happening. My business was saved when I was able to work during the day and stay at the work release building at night. Mr Head earned his money in my case, and never quit trying until I found an answer to save my business.

Stressed Out but Happy Now

I gave Mr. Head 5 stars in all categories. His staff probably earned 4 of these 5 stars, because they kept me informed every step of my case. I was so stressed out at the beginning of my D.U.I. case, but over time felt relieved by the total team effort to keep my license from being suspended and finding a way to not have a D.U.I. on my criminal record.

Thank You HTW&W

I never had to hire an attorney before I found Mr. Head. Every major Internet sight that I checked had him listed, so I decided to set an appointment with him about my driving under the influence charges in Marietta. He told me information about my arresting officer, about the court process and gave me three options for fees. After looking into the three lawyers with his firm, I chose Frank Gomez, based on the fact that he is co-author of one of Mr. Head's books and was the least costly lawyer offered by Mr. Head's firm. As he predicted when I met Mr. Head, Mr. Gomez was able to keep me driving and had the drunken driving charge dropped to a wreckless driving. The most important thing is that I was able to keep driving. I will not get myself into such a jam again, but I am thrilled to have found these lawyers on-line.

Thanks Mr. Head

My D.U.I. started when I decided to go out with my best friend, who was celebrating her new job. That night, I did not drive after drinking, and rode along with her. She had planned to let me stay at her apartment after we came back, so that I did not have to drive. Since I am a registered nurse, I can't risk being convicted of this type of offense. Everything was fine until we got to her apartment. Her boyfriend decided to "drop in" on her, and she only had the one bed and only a love seat -- no big sofa. So, I decided that I could not stay there. Bad decision. I made it to my neighborhood before the blue lights came on. My heart was in my throat when the officer came to my window to tell me I had been speeding. I begged to be allowed to walk home from there, but he would not budge. I tried to do the field sobriety tests so I could avoid arrest, but he said that he saw impairment "in my eyes" and arrested me. One of my friends recommended Mr. Head to me. He met with me at his office in Atlanta and told me that because I had a low breath test reading, he was going to refer me to another lawyer in my hometown (where it happened) in order to save me money. I was ready to pay anything to save my job, yet he was worried about what I would have to pay to get out of this. I went to that other lawyer (in Lawrenceville) and he helped me get the case reduced. His fee was far less than Mr. Head's, so I am appreciative of getting such fair advice from this man. I will refer my friends to his firm, because he is honest about how he conducts his business. Maybe that is what makes him the best.

Bubba Head

When I was arrested for DUI, my cell phone was taken away from me. I could not remember any phone numbers to make my bond except my former wife's home number. I waiting 6 hours to call her, because I did not want to involve her in getting released. Jail has a way of making you lose any pride in calling people to help get released. She helped me get bond posted and I was finally released 14 hours after my arrest. the word nightmare is the best way to sum up that night. And to think that it started because my license plate sticker was expired, due to me not getting it renewed the month before, when my birthday came up. We were able to keep the case in the Roswell municiple court and dropped the DUI for a reckless driving charge. I was not happy with it being reckless driving, but I had no more jail and just paid a fine and completed several other conditions. The prosecutor would not come down any further, because I had an old nolo plea to DUI when I was 19 years old. Mr. Head was willing to move the case to Fulton County for a jury trial, but I did not want to risk that, or pay the extra money that would cost. So, I took the deal. If I get back in trouble again, I will be calling Bubba Head, that is for certain.

Finally Over

I was arrested for lane violation and DUI in the City of Atlanta. Bubba worked for 13 months to get a deal for me where I would not have a DUI on my record. When we finally got the deal, he waiting until all other cases were resolved, and then had the case called up for completion. I was not sure that the reduction would be accepted, even though I performed 100 hours of community service. Finally, the ordeal was over. I walked out of that court a free man (in my mind). Bubba Head won't quit until he gets what he wants.

A Happy Salesman in Woodstock

I was stopped at a roadblock in Cherokee County. After my best friend and I had been playing pool for 4 hours, I was certain that I had stopped drinking long enough to be under the legal limit. So, I was sort of a designated driver. The roadblock was opearted by state troopers on the ramp coming from Exit 8 southbound. They hid it just over a hill so you could not see the police cares. As soon as I was stopped, I asked to call my lawyer. The officer said I did not have that right. I asked if I could leave if I parked my trick on the shoulder, and I could not do that either. I was suspicious of the officer's answers and refused to do anything further until I spoke to a lawyer. In that county, if you refuse field testing and breath testing, it is an immediate arrest. Plus, the prosecutor will not reduce a DUI. So we went to trial. At Mr. Head's suggestion, I did not use a jury, but did have my friend testify about how little I had drunk that night. Plus, the video was good for me, and Mr. Head used an expert to show all the errors the trooper made that night. The judge hearing my case found me not guilty. This frightening experience taught me a lesson --- you don't have to be the slightest bit drunk to be charged with drunk driving. I am glad I won, but I won't be forking over that money for a lawyer again.

Professional, Honest, and Caring Lawyer

I knew Bubba because I am in the legal services business. I had heard his name from at least half dozen attorneys over the years, but never thought I would be calling on him. I was stopped on 316 coming home from Athens late Sunday night. The stop was for speeding on that section of road near the Gwinnett airport. I was going 71 in a 55. I had not really slowed down from the section of the highway where the limit was 65. I admitted drinking, but told the officer I only has 2 drinks over an hour ago in Athens. I tried to do the tests along the roadside to prove I was OK. When he asked me to blow into a portable tester, I asked if I had to do it. He told me "no". I didn't. I was immediately arrested. I went to jail. The breath tests were both below 08 but I was still charged with driving impaired. It took me nearly 7 hours to get out of jail. I barely had time to get a shower before I had to be at an important meeting on Monday morning. The case was settled before trial for a no contest plea to reckless. It was nearly a full year before it was wrapped up, because we were already back in football season. I learned an expensive lesson. I see Bubba from time to time at seminars, and he never mentions the case. He just talks about my business and asks about my wife and kids.

Thank You Mr. Head

I attended my daughter's interview with my 24 year old daughter a few days ago. She was arrested for a DUI in Sandy Springs. Mr. Head was recommended to us by our real estate attorney. The real estate attorney said that he had lawyers on his "A" list and on his "B" list. We told him, "give us the best on your 'A' list". He directed us to Mr. Head. Mr. Head spent over 90 minutes with us. He was meticulous, warm and very interesting. I can only say, we have been wounded as a family by "the event" and left Mr. Head's office with hope and a good feeling for the future. If only, we as parents could keep our children from harm. It was a pleasure meeting Mr. Head.

Sandy Springs Drunk Driving Charge

The police in Sandy Springs are everywhere. Late at night, you better believe they are going to pull you over. I was on Roswell Road, near the QT. The officer who stopped me said I was "having a hard time maintaining" my lane. I told him that I had no idea what he meant, but I was still asked to get out of the car. I was asked where I was coming from. I told the officer "from a friend's house". He asked me more questions, but I started to say less and less. Because I had recently had knee surgery from a soccer injury, I did not have to do the walking tests, but the officer waved his pen in front of my eyes and then asked me to blow into a small black box with a white tube going across the top. I would not blow. I was cuffed and taken to Doraville jail. What a Hell hole! I took a breath test there so I would not lose my license. Then, the officer left me at Doraville, in their jail. When I came to see Bubba Head, he told me that my case would likely get reduced (due to a fairly low breath test score) and that (for that reason) he was suggesting that one of his partners handle the case. I was hesitant at first, but followed his advice. I did get the reduction offer, and took it. Mr. Head saved me a ton of money by suggesting that I not hire him, and hire his partner. That is why I am willing to write this letter. He treated me like I would hope all people would treat other people.

Atlanta DUI

My DUI came after I crossed a painted line on the highway while trying to look at my GPS to find my way home from an office party. I was not drunk, but the officer berated me about drinking and driving. My legs were shaking, I was so intimidated. He just barked instructions about what I was to do next. I did the roadside tests very well, but he said that he "saw it in my eyes". I could not believe I was being arrested! When I got yo the Atlanta jail, they had taken my cell phone. I had no one's local phone number memorized, and the jailers were anything but helpful. I was more afraid of those female jailers than the officer who arrested me. I spent nearly 24 hours in jail! It took over a year, but I was finally able to get a reduction to wreckless. Mr. Head knew I was ready to fight at trial. That reduction was a HUGE deal, because I am working toward becoming a CPA one day. That DUI might have kept me from receiving many job offers.

I Have Never Been So Relieved in My Life

I had a no-lo plea to DUI in Smyrna in 1995, but that was not handled by Mr. Head. I went with another lawyer, because I heard that Mr. Head was expensive. My lawyer told me that would be off my record in 5 years. Well, I got arrested for suspected drunk driving in Lawrenceville. I did not take any tests at all, because I did not trust the officer telling me I had failed to yield by turning in front of his car. He claimed to have had to jam on his breaks. I told the policeman I had not been drinking, but he claimed to smell alcohol on me. It seemed to make him mad that I denied drinking, but I never changed my story. I asked to call a lawyer, but was told I couldn't speak to one at this time. So, I did not blow at the station. They took me to Gwinnet jail. I then contacted Mr. Head. He told me that in Gwinnet the prosecutor was tough on any repeat offenses, and that I would not be given but 2 choices: fight or DUI. I asked him about the 5 year deal for no-lo. He told me that I had gotten some bad advice. I hired Mr. Head, and he was right on everything. I was first offered a chance to plead to DUI and go to jail for 60 days! I couldnt believe it! I would go broke if I was not able to be at my business for 2 months. My back was against the wall. We fought the case, and the motion hearing went very well for my case. I did not testify. Later, the case was set for trial. I was nervous as I have ever been, because the woman judge I had was known for punishing people who lost at DUI trials. Mr. Head told me to not be fearful, because we had a court reporter's record of that earlier hearing, and that we had an excellent case. The day before trial, the prosecutor offered a reckless driving plea to me. I did not go to jail, and I did not lose my business.

Cobb Parkway

My mother located Mr. Head using the Internet after I stupidly tried to drive my drunk friends home, so they would not get into a wreck. It was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I got caught for speeding along Cobb parkway. I have never been that frightened in my life. 17 years old and going to jail! That was the longest night of my life. When we came to see Mr. Head, I did not know what to expect. He was about the age of my grandfather, which surprised me. He spent time getting to know more about me, including my goals, my GPA, and what college I planned to try to get admitted to. He spoke to me and my parents for a while, and then asked them to wait in the lobby so he could ask me some questions that he would prefer that I feel totally comfortable in answering for him. Because I had taken a blood test (I could not quit crying and hyperventilating long enough to get a breath test), he asked me what was going to be in my blood. He was concerned that I might have used drugs. I told him NO. He then told me that the tests may pick up drug readings for some drugs, like marijuana, over a week after last used. I did not know that! But, I had not taken anything except some alcohol. He also made me promise that I would thank my parents for standing behind me and helping me. I was mad about that at first, because he did not know how much crap I had been catching from them since this arrest. I was grounded indefinitely. But, he told me he had daughters, and that he knew how much it would mean to my parents if I just did that. So, I did do that later that night. Mr. Head worked with the prosecutor and was able to get the DUI lowered to a reckless driving. I lost my license for 6 months, but he helped me to put off that suspension by delaying the plea date until I went off the college. I just took the bus for that part of my freshman year. This will never happen to me again. I am now in grad school, and have no DUI on my record, thanks to Mr. Head.

On my way to our vacation place in St Simons, I was stopped just after turning on the causeway. I refused all test, because I was dog tired, and had flown to Brunswick from Hartsfield very late after my 16 hr day. I asked about the local lawyers, and found that they were cheap, but did not seem to interested in fighting my case. After looking there, I asked our family attorney. He told me to ask Bubba Head. Top of the Line

I knew very little about criminal law when I started looking for a lawyer to handle my DUI case. I called my business lawyer for his advice. He said Bubba Head. I knew when I called his office that I had made the right choice because his staff was so helpful, and made me no longer feel like a criminal. Bubba was able to get the DUI dropped. I entered a reckless plea and got back to my life. The entire process in dealing with his office was top of the line, so I can recommend Bubba and his firm without hesitation.

You Get What You Pay For

The timing of my DUI could not have been worse. I had been planning a big change in my life, to move to Europe to work in a family business. Plus, my sales job in Atlanta required me to be able to drive. I started looking for an attorney, and asked several friends who to call. Of the 5 recommendations, 4 were to Bubba Head's office. I interview with Bubba and the other lawyer that had been suggested. Although Bubba was more than twice as expensive as the other lawyer, I hired Bubba. Their approaches to my case were dramatically different. Bubba wanted to make sure that I did not end up with a DUI. The other lawyer told me that he could delay the case until I moved to Europe, and then (when I was no longer available to court) he would seek to get the case dropped. I went with Bubba, and he was able to keep my Georgia license even after I refused the breth tests. Then, he did get a deal struck that allowed me to do all of the conditions, such as the 20 hour driving course, community service and alcohol screening for a reckless plea, and let me do that by mailing an affidavit form and a money order for the fines. I now live in Moscow, and have no DUI on my record. If I decide to come back to the US, i won't have to be looking over my shoulder for the authorities. You get what you pay for.

I Recommend Him 100%

On my way home from a baseball game and dinner in Atlanta, I was pulled over at a road block on Collins Hill Rd in Gwinnett County. I work in a job involving high security clearance and Homeland Security. I nearly had a panic attack, realizing that I was probably over the legal limit. I tried to do road side tests, but the officer said I failed. I would not blow into the portable breath tester or take the test at the police department. I wanted legal advice first. Mr. Head was my choice to help me fight the case. I interviewed 4 different attorneys. When I met with Mr. Head, I felt that he showed more confidence in reaching a resolution of the case without an impaired driving conviction on my record. He explained the case and the legal process better than any other lawyer, and told me information about my court, my police officer and the different judges in Gwinnett County. I was also given a copy of his book for clients, and that was BEFORE I hired him. Ultimately, the scenario that Mr. Head predicted is exactly what happened, but not until we showed up for jury trial, with our expert (an ex-cop from Atlanta) who was there to prove that the officer who arrested me did not perform the road side tests properly. The prosecutor then offered a reduced plea, and I took it without hesitating. I don’t know what would have happened without Mr. Head’s guidance.

A Forever Grateful Ex-Client

Before I went to college to get my teaching certificate, I had managed to get 2 D.U.I. convictions on my record. More than six years later, I was arrested again for D.U.I., as I returned from a concert in Atlanta. Even worse, the arrest was in Rockdale County, and Judge Todd was my judge. The prosecutor offered me a 6 mo jail sentence if I entered a guilty plea. If I did that, my teaching job was gone and all my college work at UGA was for nothing. Although I did not have any real belief that I could win, I hired William Head as my attorney. He filed several motions and attacked the legality of the officerís pullover of my car, based on a good video showing no true lane violation. Judge Todd denied that motion. Mr. Head was able to show (from the video) that the officer had made some type of error in advising me of my legal rights on the breath test. Judge Todd excluded the two breath readings (the lower reading was 0.106). Later, however, Judge Todd ruled that my two prior D.U.I. convictions could be put in front of the jury, if we opted for a jury trial. That was horrible news, and Mr. Head fought the motion as far as he could fight it. Mr. Head advised me to let Judge Todd hear the case without a jury. I thought to myself that I would be convicted. I did not testify, which was decided very early in the case after talking to Mr. Head. The judge found me NOT guilty on both the weaving charge and the D.U.I.. I was so stressed that I could not stand up from the table for several minutes after Judge Todd made his ruling. My job and my freedom were saved, and I will never fully understand how Mr. Head did it, since Judge Todd knew the test results and knew about my prior legal problems.

In March of 2008, I was stopped at a roadblock in Forsyth County on my way home from a business meeting. My employer (a large regional bank) would not tolerate any employee at my VP position having a DUI. I hired Bubba Head of Head, Thomas, Webb and Willis. He offered me lower fees than his, but I could not take a chance. I hired Bubba. The DUI was dropped after motion hearings. I am still working, but now at a different bank. This important job change would not have been possible if I had a DUI.

Thank You Mr. Head and Associates

I was stopped for speeding on highway 400 in Alpharetta. Everybody speeds on this road, but I was the one caught. Because I was traveling at 27 m.p.h. over the limit, I was facing loss of my license, since I was 17 years old. My Dad is Mr. Head’s doctor, and he told me to see Mr. Head. One of Mr. Head’s associates helped me get the ticket handled in a way that allowed me to keep driving. I am glad that the case got resolved in a way that will allow me to drive when I go off to college. That would have been a disaster.

Worth Every Penny I Paid

After a Georgia football game on a Saturday afternoon in September of 2007, I was trying to get to Atlanta for another meeting. As I tried to make my way through traffic on Hwy 316, I rear-ended another car that was stopping for a car ahead of him. Just my luck to hit the car of an off-duty cop! First, a local Barrow County officer came to the roadway. Then, a State trooper came to look into the wreck. I was out there on the roadside for nearly an hour. Because I had some alcoholic beverages in a cooler in my car, the officers assumed I was drunk. No matter what I told them about only having some drinks while tailgating before the game, and how clear and aware I was in answering their questions, the officers would not give up on arresting me for DUI. I was certain that it was due to pressure from the off-duty police officer, who never left until I was hauled away. The police stated that I had refused breath testing because I asked for an attorney. I thought that I had that right, once I was in handcuffs. This refusal jeopardized my job because I am self-employed as a financial counselor, and drive from appointment to appointment daily. I quickly learned that I was in deep trouble, and needed the best lawyer in Georgia to represent me. I swallowed my pride and called friends familiar with legal matters, and looked for referrals. I was referred to Mr. Bubba Head by 4 of the 5 people I asked for advice. That was great advice, because he first saved my driver’s license (against the claim of refusal) and then obtained a reduced plea to a non-licnse suspension offense (reckless driving). The amount of investigation that he and his staff did for my case (thank you, Ms. Brooks) was nothing short of amazing. While my case was pending, the local DA from Barrow County went off to prison for 8 years, and the entire staff was changed at the DA’s office! This delayed things for several more months. Once, we came prepared for trial, and the new DA was not ready, and the case was continued by the judge. Ultimately, I got a “no contest” plea accepted by the judge in March of 2009, and I was relieved of the day to day anxiety that I dealt with while this case proceeded.

Able to Drive Again

I recently tried to represent myself on two separate traffic tickets (rolling stop sign violation and a minor fender bender — my fault) that I received. One was in Alpharetta and one was in John’s Creek. I just pled guilty to both, because I did not think asking my parents to hire a lawyer for me made any sense. Then, I got a letter from the office that issues drivers licenses. Because I was only 16 years old, the two tickets added up to more points than I could have and keep driving. My license was suspended! My parents knew Bubba Head, an Atlanta lawyer. He had helped my sisters on their DUI cases. Somehow, because I had gone to both courts without an attorney, he was able to get my drivers license restored. As far as I am concerned, he works miracles.

You Saved My Job

While on a business trip to Atlanta from my home in Florida, I was stopped for a weaving charge. It was on Peachtree Road, a curvy, difficult place to drive by anyone’s standards. The officer smelled alcohol, and arrested me for DUI. I travel for a living, and I had also refused to take the breath test offered at the police station. For this, my Florida license was confiscated and I was given a yellow paper by the State trooper who arrested me. I told my boss about it, because I had no driver’s license to return home, and did not know what to do. The company (a software consulting group) stood behind me, so long as I was able to drive. I needed a lawyer, and a good one. An attorney friend in the Orlando area called a Florida DUI specialist, Mike Snure, who recommended a lawyer in Atlanta — William Head. My video did not look too good, but I was polite and cooperative. Mr. Head ultimately was able to obtain a reduction of charges from DUI to “reckless”. This saved my license, I am relieved to say. That outcome saved my job. I have never been so stressed as I was during this court process. Never again will I risk a DUI. This was a costly error.

Simply the Best!

I was arrested for DUI some years ago and with a BAC over 0.20, I assumed that I was done for. As a paralegal, I understood the seriousness of the charge, and the substantial weight of the evidence against me. I knew that my only hope would be to hire a superior attorney. I had no idea who that might be since I had never worked in criminal law (or been charged with anything) but when I asked my attorney friends about it, the response was always the same: "use Bubba Head, he's the best." They were absolutely right. Bubba saw to it that I was acquitted in short order (largely due to his skillful handling of the videotape evidence) and I was able to watch a master attorney at work. Mr. Head is known nationwide as the best DUI attorney there is. I have worked with a lot of lawyers and I can tell you that he is the most competent, dedicated and professional attorney I have ever dealt with in ANY practice area. There is no question about it, Bubba Head is the best!

Dedicated and Supportive Attorney

My case was long and involved. Mr. Head persevered thru several court delays and legal technicalities, but was eventually able reach a resolution to the case that was very favorable to me. He always had my best interest in mind. I will forever be grateful for the excellent professional services Mr. Head rendered on my behalf and the personal support he and his staff provided throughout my ordeal.

Mr. Head Is Truly the BEST Attorney!

3rd DUI in 5 years...if convicted, my husband could have been incarcerated up to maximum sentence of 1 year with a 'habitual violator' next to his name. We have just gotten married at the time, and felt like our world was coming to an end. After going through several attorneys, (one said the outcome is totally unpredictable due to its severity, and others said the best option for us is to plead guilty in hopes of a lesser term), we felt confused, exhausted and hopeless. Then as if God answered our prayers, we discovered Mr. Head. Not only he has over 30 years of experience, written the DUI laws in GA, and has represented famous sports celebrities, what drove me to him were all those wonderful reviews written by his formal clients. Who would have ever thought that I would be writing this myself! The final outcome of our touch case? Mr. Head got our case DISMISSED! we finally got our lives back together. Mr. Head truly is the BEST in his field.."Thank you Mr. Head! :)

Thanks for Saving My Job

When I look for a doctor or a lawyer or a CPA, all I want to know is “who is the best?” I researched lawyers on the Internet for my drunk driving case, and found one that gave out tons of free information. I then got a free appointment with him, and he spent 90 minutes with me, asking and answering questions. I then asked a friend who is a prosecutor in a different location, and he confirmed my choice: William Head. His staff (Allison and Julie) were as good as him. I got my charge reduced and kept my license, and this saved my job as a regional sales rep.

I Never Got To Thank You

Bubba won my license hearing by getting the officer to withdraw it. Then, we went to trial at Roswell and he won the trail that was decided by the Judge. What more can I say? I won’t be having this nightmare happen again, but I thank God I found Bubba Head.

Glynn Co GA.

My case was in Glynn Co GA. I was stopped for speeding and DUI. My breath test was .164. I did not know if Mr. Head would take my case so far away. He did take the case. About 2 years after my arrest, we went to trial on my case. I did not testify, but Mr. Head brought in an expert on the breath machine and 6 other witnesses. Just before the jury got the case, the prosecutor did some things in front of the jurors that were not proper. Mr. Head called him on his error, and asked for a mistrial, and the judge agreed. I could not understand all the legal stuff that was going on, and just wanted to get it over. But, Mr. Head was right, as it turned out. Mr. Head later got the case dropped entirely. It took 4 years, but it was worth the wait.

Duluth, GA

I was arrested for DUI. I did not know what to do. My husband called his business attorney to get advice on who to call to help me with this problem. Barry did not handle DUI criminal cases. He sent us to see Mr. Head. Mr. Head first tried to get the case reduced. The prosecutor would not settle the case for a lesser offense. Mr. Head hired an expert in field testing, because the arresting officer had not conducted the roadside tests correctly. The witness, Jay, was well-known for his skills as a former DUI officer and police trainer. Our case was set for trial. We showed up for trial with my witnesses and our expert witness. The attitude of the prosecutor visibly changed. We announced that we were ready to go to trial. Fifteen minutes later, the case was reduced to a lower charge (not DUI). I was SO relieved, as was my husband. I can’t think about the case without stressing a bit, but I know we made the right decision in hiring Bubba Head.

Great Work

After going through my Gwinnett County DUI/serious injury felony case, I can tell you that I will never recommend anyone but William Head. It was my second drunk driving charge, even though the first one was 9 years earlier. I was facing 15 years in state prison, and (based on the judge I had in Gwinnett) would likely have received 10 or more years if went to trial and convicted. Mr. Head was able to show legal reasons why my blood test (0.164) had to be excluded. The case was reduced to misdemeanor offenses. My life and auto repair business were saved. The fee was high, but I did not care. What was 10 years of my life worth?

Top Banker

I had an extremely difficult case that looked unwinnable. I blew a .22 and had totalled my car (thankfully) I was not involved in an accident where a person was involved. I was recommended to Mr. Head from two different sources. A former Police Officer who had come had routinely come across Mr. Head and a partner at a top Atlanta Law Firm where a girl I used to date worked. They both said that Mr. Head was the best in the business. When I met with Mr. Head, I was just looking to negotiate something but Mr. Head thought we had a case (which I completely didn't see). We took it to court and the case was dismissed. Mind you, I blew a .22 and two witnesses against me.

You Are a Great Lawyer!

Mr. Head did not suggest I plead guilty. In fact he told me and my parents that he was “not interested” in my case if I chose to plead guilty. My parents liked that statement, and hired him to represent me. He asked dozens of questions of me, and later called the passenger to get his version of what happened. Mr. Head went to the roadway where the incident happened. He then hired an expert witness for the case (an ex-cop with 20+ years of prior experience). The police report described a type of driving behavior that Mr. Head did not believe to be a crime. Using the passenger as a witness, we went to a pre-trial motion hearing and questioned to cop as well as my passenger. Mr. Head has color blow-up photos of the roadway, and measured drawings of the intersection I crossed. When the hearing was over, I walked away with NO violation. I learned then and there not to try to guess what can happen is a criminal prosecution. My parents saved me by hiring a great lawyer.

Thanks

I have used Bubba Head for three DUI charges between 1996 and 2005. For the first two, he was able to get reductions for me. The last one, which occurred in Dawson County, I crashed into another car while making a left turn across a median, injuring myself and another person in the other vehicle. Once I posted bond, Bubba was the first person I called. He worked quickly to assess the seriousness of the wreck and to meet with the assistant DA to gather copies of all evidence. She (the assistant DA) offered a deal to enter a plea to the DUI only, and (with my blessing) Bubba accepted it, because we did not want to take a chance that I could be charged with a felony of serious injury by vehicle. We had learned that the lady in the other car had suffered a broken foot. Following his advice, I did all conditions of the plea before the scheduled plea date. Then, two weeks before my case was to be concluded, the female assistant DA who worked out our case left on maternity leave. The replacement DA, a young male, refused to honor our deal for a misdemeanor plea. We had to go in front of the judge for a hearing to enforce our “agreement”. Mr. Head prevailed, and I was saved from my own bad judgment and stupidity. Never again will I risk my freedom by drinking and driving. Those days are over for me. I will forever be in Bubba’s debt for pulling me out of the fire.

Bubba Head Gets Results

I was working in new car sales for an Atlanta-based Range Rover dealer when I was arrested for a 2;30 AM DUI in Atlanta. I knew not to take field evaluations, but was still arrested. I refused the breath test, too. Needless to say, I did not need a D.U.I. on my record, much less could I afford to have my license suspended for refusing to be tested. Working with Betty Brooks, his investigator, Mr. Head obtained the trooper’s agreement to a reduction to “lane violation” for me. My excellent job was saved, and (when I later moved to California), I was able to get my CA license with no problem. Results are what I needed, and Bubba Head gets results.

Special Thanks From David

I was arrested in Cobb County, Georgia while in my parked SUV in a bank parking lot while passed out behind the wheel. My alcohol level was over 0.25%. My attorney from Douglas County (who specializes in real estate) referred me to Mr. Head. I was going through a painful separation, and was in a bad state of mind at the time. I already had a prior DUI, so I was petrified of going to jail on this case. I quickly learned that the vehicle need not be “running” for me to be charged with DUI, if police can put together evidence of when I drove earlier, and whether I had alcohol before the driving ended. Mr. Head obtained a reduction of this case for me at the point of trial. The prosecutor realized that the officer had not gathered certain needed information from me about whether I had consumed alcohol AFTER I drove into that parking lot and parked. Since several bars and restaurants were located nearby, and it was late afternoon on a Friday, that was a possibility. I learned my lesson, but also learned to look for the best drunken driving lawyer when facing a difficult case. I wish I had known about Bubba on my first case.

Thank You William

My father (who is a judge in Georgia) referred me to Mr. Head. I was in my last semester at Georgia Southern. Considering my video and alcohol level, I thought I had no chance walking out of that case without a conviction for driving while intoxicated. I was wrong. Mr. Head was able to suppress the breath test based on some violation of my legal rights. I was able to plead guilty to “reckless”. That allowed me to keep my driver’s license, finish college and get a good job in South Carolina 4 months later. I am sold on Mr. Head’s skill at winning tough cases, and so is my Dad.

Mr. Head Saved My Case

At age 43, I faced drunk driving charges in Dekalb County that stunned me. I had taken Ambien for the first time (while sitting in my bed at 11:30 PM) and later started driving without knowing it! I had no intention of going anywhere at 1 AM. Because I had an odor of alcohol on my breath (from two drinks I had at home between 8:30 PM and 10 PM, the officer arrested me of alcohol-DUI. The officer arrested me, based on me driving on a flat tire and going about 10 miles per hour along the roadway near my neighborhood. Mr. Head immediately knew how to handle the case. He was able to save my driver’s license and I did not get a DUI on my record. Later, I saw several national news stories about the risks of “sleep driving” when taking Ambien. Mr. Head was featured on one of the stories! All I know is that he never backed away from my nearly impossible case. I am thankful I found him.

Kudos Bubba Head

I was referred to Mr. Head by one of Atlanta’s biggest law firms, King & Spalding. They represent our company, and my boss called one of the partners there to see who I needed to see about my D.U.I. charges in City of Atlanta. They were right --- NOT GUILTY. Kudos to Mr. Head L. O.

The Most Frightening Experience Was a Georgia DUI, Until I Met Mr. Head

I 'm new to Georgia and until my DUI arrest, was unaware of the complicated laws. I was alone, and very frightened. The day after the event, I searched the internet for the best attorney I could find. In a past career I was a Certified Fraud Examiner, so I've worked with many attorneys and FBI agents. I made several phone calls. At midnight not even five minutes after I completed this firms online application, I received a telephone call from a representative of the firm. We spoke for over a half hour. A few days later, I had a few other questions and called the firm. I was placed on hold and within moments another attorney came to the phone, a former police detective. We spoke, he answered all of my questions, and my mind was cleared. When I met with Mr. Head a week later, I was pleasantly surprised and my drive home after our appointment was very unstressed. He is a wealth of knowledge, is very calm, and as busy as he is he returns e-mail faster than I do!

Thumbs Up to Bubba Head

After meeting a girl friend for drinks and dinner, I was on my way back home when I was pulled over for having a defective tai light. It was 11:45 PM. I did have some wine before and with dinner, and the officer said he smelled it on my breath when he came to my car window to advise me of the problem with the light. He asked me to step out of the car to do field tests, which I did. I was a bit nervous, being a single female at the location along a quiet residential street. About 5 minutes later, despite doing extremely well on the roadside tests, I was cuffed and arrested. I was in shock! Soon, my car was being searched and later towed away as I watched from the back seat of a police car. When I got out of jail the next day on bond, I asked my younger brother who he had used on a DUI second offense case in Roswell about 6 years earlier. He was only 20 years old at the time of that arrest, which was his second. He told me “Bubba Head”. He also told me that Mr. Head had won his case at trial on the issue of legitimacy of the pullover. He also told me that he wished he had known about Mr. Head on his first offense, when another lawyer convinced him that he had no chance to win that case. I went to his office and he took an extensive amount of time getting information about the arrest, how much I had to drink, and asking me questions about how this case could affect my employment (pharmaceutical sales). I was comfortable that I was not just another “number” at his office. Once the video was obtained by Mr. Head, my report of doing fairly well on field tests proved to be true. Also, my voice was clear, and speech was normal on the audio portion. Mr. Head obtained a reduction of charges. The DUI was dropped. I did some community service hours, took a risk reducing course and paid a fine. By doing it all in advance, I did not even get any probation! Mr. Head did everything I had asked of him, and more. His office was great at staying in touch with me and arranging appointments by phone or in person. Two thumbs up for the best lawyer in Georgia.

Thank You Sir

When I returned from Afghanistan, where I was with a military “special forces” unit, I was having difficulty shaking the images of war. I was drinking too much, and “frankly) was taking too many unnecessary risks. One night, after midnight, I drove my boss’s Porsche and was observed by an officer as I drove through the Buckhead business district at 95 m.p.h Predictably, I was pulled over and later arrested because I had been drinking before driving. This was a very tough case, and my feeble explanation of why I was driving in such a dangerous manner was not well- received by the arresting officer. Miraculously, Mr. Head was able to get the DUI charge reduced to reckless driving. This saved my new job, and the entire incident helped me get out of the “rosk taking” business that I had engaged in on a daily basis in Afghanistan. With almost any other lawyer, I would have been stuck with a DUI.

I was recommended to Mr. Head by a guy who Mr. Head had help to win 3 DUI cases for. I needed to ensure that I was not found guilty of a DUI for citizenship reasons. I also did not want this on my driving record for possibility of an increase in insurance etc.

Bubba did an excellent job with my case. During the consultation, he told me to place things in his hands and he would do the rest. He was absolutely "true" to his Word. He effectively managed through the issues/roadblocks in the legal system until a favorable resolution was achieved. His lived up to and beyond his reputation. I would recommend him to anyone. Great Job!

Sincere Thanks

Mr. Head took my case and began planning how to win it from the very beginning of the representation. He and I never met before court, because I was a student at Vanderbilt University and the interview occurred by phone. To me, the case seemed hopeless. I was under age 21, and had spun out in a rainstorm, ending up in a Gwinnett County ditch. My car could not be driven away. My parents called their business lawyers to find a specialist. These lawyers did not hesitate in their recommendation. Bubba Head. My breath test readings were sky high, so I had little hope of finding a way to win. When we went to court, the prosecutor would not offer anything but a DUI. Mr. Head asked for trial, without a jury. Less than 30 minutes later, I was acquitted of the DUI! I never testified, and Mr. Head never called a single witness on my behalf. I was so thankful to my parents for helping me hire Mr. Head. Keeping that DUI off my record helped me get jobs immediately upon graduation. With a DUI --- coming straight from college --- I may have been unemployable. With my sincere thanks to Mr. Head and his efforts, I can unequivocally recommend his services.
